The Los Angeles Dodgers have offered an update regarding Max Muncy, who exited the game due to “left knee pain.” The incident occurred in the sixth inning when Michael A. Taylor inadvertently slid into Muncy’s knee while attempting to steal third base. The awkward slide caused Muncy’s knee to bend backward, leading him to collapse in visible distress.

The team has indicated that they will conduct tests on Muncy throughout the night and into the following day, providing a more detailed update on the All-Star third baseman’s condition as soon as possible. At this moment, the Dodgers are hopeful that the injury is not as severe as it initially appeared.
