Lizzo is sharing the secrets of her remarkable weight loss journey, which has seen her shed 100 pounds. In a recent interview with Women’s Health, the acclaimed singer discussed the changes she made to her lifestyle and diet that helped her prioritize her health.

Once a devoted vegan, Lizzo has shifted her dietary approach, incorporating whole foods like beef, chicken, and fish into her meals. “When I started actually eating whole foods and eating, like, beef and chicken and fish, I was actually full and not expanding my stomach by putting a lot of fake things in there that [weren’t] actually filling me up,” she remarked in June.

Her daily meals are largely based on protein and vegetables. For breakfast, she typically enjoys a hearty combination of two scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and cauliflower hash browns. On the beverage front, she prefers black coffee mixed with a vanilla protein shake, as she shared on “The Breakfast Club.”

Lizzo’s lunches often consist of a lettuce wrap filled with tuna or sliced chicken breast, or a shredded Thai chicken salad. Her preferred dinner, which she consumes before 5 p.m., includes turkey meatloaf served with cauliflower mashed potatoes and green beans. As for snacks, she opts for low-sugar Greek yogurt topped with blueberries or blackberries and a drizzle of honey.

Alongside her nutritious meals, Lizzo emphasizes the importance of balance in her dietary choices. She stays active with workouts five days a week, stating, “It’s a beautiful balance where it’s like, if you allow yourself to have something, you can enjoy it without overindulging and hurting yourself. I’m so proud of myself for overcoming that.”
